Easter at the Stuhlfaut's

Hi everyone. This was a perfect day for having everyone over for Easter fun. All the kids got to hunt for Easter Eggs. It was just a wonderful, fun, family day together.

Sioux Falls Toy Show

Annette and I traveled to see Megan and Aaron at the Sioux Falls, SD Toy Show. We really enjoyed ourselves and managed to buy a few toys too!

What a trip. Seattle, of course

We just got back from visiting our children in Seattle. We had a very special time and enjoyed our stay very much. Traveling to Anacortes and visiting a beautiful park was really a highlight. We relaxed and hiked over trails and saw such beautiful scenery. Take a look at the pictures I’ve included and see for yourself. It was so good to see everyone again. Our trip went smoothly but way too fast!

Megan and Erin Visit

We had a special time on Sunday, March 1st. Megan flew into town to attend her appointment at the Mayo Clinic. Erin and her fiance, Paul stopped over to visit and we all had lunch and freshly, baked cookies Mom made. Yum!

A Dark and Bloody Ground board game

I played a fun Native American/US battle game of the 1790s. It's called, " A Dark and Bloody Ground," by Against the Odds. My friend, Ken Monson and I played it on Saturday, Feb 21st in the afternoon. We had a great time and had fun playing the game. We learned about the history of the Ohio valley region just after the American Revolution.

Baby Cupcake shirt for April

Here is the shirt I was telling you about. If you look at the sleeves you can see how puckery they are and the design was supposed to be a star with 6 lines coming out from the center and then two stitches to the next star. Oops! That didn’t work either. The cupcake word did not come out as dark as it should. The edges are covered up with the fabric glue. I will put it on the clothesline at the shower and not admit that I made it.

Ah, the first day of February. Yesterday was beautiful in Inver Grove Heights. About 40 degrees + and sunny. We've had such a cold January; no higher than 1o degrees with many days below zero. Maybe we're finally getting past that point. Ugh! No more...

Erin's Saturn car needed too many repairs to fix yesterday so I picked up Paul and her and we went car shopping. We went to the Saturn dealer in IGH and then went to Culver's for lunch in West St. Paul. We ended up at Honda there in WSP and found a really nice and clean white Pontiac Grand Am. They test drove it and decided it was the one. I'm really happy for them and they'll get really good use out of the car. Good set of wheels and safe to drive.

Annette and I had waffles and bacon today for breakfast. Yum. We'll watch the movie, "Momma Mia". We enjoyed Abba music in our day and look forward to seeing it. The Super Bowl 43 is today at 5:00 central. Go Cardinals!
